What is Cyber Essentials?
Cyber Essentials is a Government-backed, industry-supported scheme that helps businesses to protect themselves against the growing threat of cyber-attacks. Cyber Essentials provides clear guidance around the basic controls organisations should have in place to prevent breaches in their network infrastructure.
One step further…. Cyber Essentials Plus
The next level up takes us to Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+) and the very highest level of certification offered within the Cyber Essentials scheme. The assessment process is significantly more detailed, with the assessor undertaking a full deep dive into an organisation’s cyber security systems, running tests across a representative set of user devices. Thorough vulnerability testing (including external vulnerability testing) and technical audits are deployed, to ensure your organisation is protected against basic hacking and phishing attacks.
